
This happened by mistake today…. I was trying to do the jello pie but without crust, just in a dish. But…. This time rather than folding in the cool whip I used a whisk…. What I got took me back to my childhood and reminded me of jello 1-2-3, which I loved! But this Is more like jello 1-2 because there’s only 2 layers…..
I used 1 package sugar free store brand jello mix (raspberry) and about 1/4 tub of store brand cool whip. I used about 3/4 cup of boiling water then added about 1/2-3/4 of a cup of cold water. Poured in to a square dish and put in fridge for about an hour. Cooled for sure but not starting to set yet. Then whisk in the cool whip for about 2 min and put back in fridge for a few hours! That’s it…. Soooo yummy and a definite throwback for me!
